Currently the Board of Directors of Farm Credit Armenia is composed of six members chosen by the General Meeting and an Outside Director chosen by the Board. Seryozha Hayrapetyan
As the mayor of his village Mr. Hayrapetyan is responsible for improving living conditions of the village residents, securing financial resources to support low income families and coordinating all major activities in the village. He has MA in Law from the Syunik Institute in Goris region. His farm operation of 54 hectares consists of wheat production, vineyards, and orchards. Mr. Zakaryan graduated from Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1977 with a MA Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since 1982 he has held managerial positions including the head of Vayq Car Columns (1982 to1986), “Armruralchemistry” District Union Director in Vayq (1986 to1989), “Beriutyun” Regional Production Union Director in Vayq (1989 to2005).
In 2000 he founded “Vayq Group” Ltd which operates a winery and dry fruit production. He also has 27 hectares of vineyards and 45 hectares of apricot orchard. On February 4, 2010 Ashot Zakaryan was elected by the General Meeting of FC as the Board Member from Vayots Dzor marz. His term ends in 2014. Ashot Zakaryan was born on March 5, 1955. Rafik Ohanyan
Rafik Ohanyan was reelected by the General Meeting as the Board Member of FCA from Tavush marz on February 3, 2010.His term ends in 2014. Rafik Ohanyan was born on November 27, 1956. Sedrak Sedrakyan
Mr. Sedrakyan studied at Yerevan Polytechnic Institute from 1975 to1980 and Armenian Agrarian Institute from 1984 to1986. He has MA Degree in Machine-Building. From 1982 to1992 he was the President of Kaputan Village Council and from 2001 to2002 he worked as Facilitator at Kotayk RCAS (Regional Center of Agricultural Support) SCJSC. Then from 2003 to 2005 he worked as the cattle breeding and horticulture teacher at Kaputan Secondary School. Since 2005 Mr. Sedrakyan has been engaged in livestock and crop agriculture production. On February 4, 2010 Sedrak Sedrakyan was elected by the General Meeting as the Board Member of FC from Kotayk marz. His term ends in 2014. Sedrak Sedrakyan was born on February 20, 1959. Mr. Nver Poghosyan has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Yerevan State Technical College. He operates a bee keeping and orchard farm with 150 hives and 450 apple trees on 3 hectares. He produces some of the highest quality honey and is considered one of the leaders of the honey industry in Armenia. Mr. Poghosyan`s honey has always had a great demand and is extensively consumed in Armenia replacing sugar. Nver Ohanyan was reelected by the General Meeting as the Board Member of FCA from Ararat marz on February 3, 2010. His term ends in 2014. Nver Poghosyan was born on March 25, 1957. Vahram Harutunyan, Board Member, village Aratashen, Armavir marz
Mr. Harutyunyan has MA Degree in National Farm Planning from Yerevan State University. From 1991 to 1996 he worked as the President of Aratashen Village Council and from 1999 to 2002 he was the Head of Aratashen Community. Since 2002 he has been engaged in horticulture agricultural production. His farm operation of 43 hectares of arable land currently consists of 20 hectares of vineyards.
